Throttle spring

The inner arm of the spring does not rest on the adjustment screw. Look closely at the photo. Blow it up if possible and I think you will. Se it resting on the screw head behind the adjusting screw.

Try using your air compressor. Adjust regulated air as high as it will go then direct air stream under fiberglass to try and loosen it. Worked on my 7 and 12.

If not air can flow thru them and down alongside the cowl outside of the baffles.
