When running amateur race cars, 100LL avgas was better than any racing fuel. Cheap too. If avgas is really equivalent to 110 car gas, that explains a lot.

This is a very good review of avgas. It also talks about Mogas and the ethanol mandate. Lots of stuff in here on the technical side of gasoline production. Very well worth the few minutes.

I always found the torque seal is brittle enough to where it will poop off with a little coaxing. If you must, one can use a pair for dikes (diagonal cutters) to remove the torque seal. YMMV

I dont remember what the final edge distance was, but it was pretty close. I did the best I could and called it done. If there is any doubt, I would recommend you call Vans support.

The jet flex paint is really tough so it doesnt get marred during riveting. I did go over it with some car polish in a few areas that showed scuff marks.
