I did just hear from ECI and since these are new PMA cylinders (not experimental) they will come with an 8130 form which confirms that they are ready to install. Thanks for the inputs.

Always use both, starts great

Went with new ECI Cylinders

As Paul suggested, ECI did help us out some and we ended up buying new ECI Nickel cylinders. Will have and install soon and will report out on our results later.

Installed a garmin GDL39 receiver to pick up the free weather and wired it to my 696 for display. Seems to work fine.

Forgot to mention i have 300xl connected to grt as primary gps, 696 is number 2. I would keep that as i can feed a flight plan to AP from either GPS.
