Actually it is a GTA, The GTA was the same shape as the GTV, but was built with aluminum external panels replacing the standard steel panels. The 'A' stood for "Alleggerita", Italian for "lightened".

Yeah, I know, nothing to do with RVs. But hey, it is aluminum, has plexiglass windows and dual ignition.

Nice

Sadly my hangar only has one occupant at the moment, although it is taking up all my time. I have enough space for 1 or 2 mor toys.

G/f says go for the mg a, but I'm thinking about building a Caterham or maybe an ultima.

Btw Phil, thanks for stopping by last night, good to meet you and talk panels and round engines.

The working girl :)

My -10 and the working girl...my 500 gallon/50' wingspan workhorse that pays for all the other toys:

My hangar also has an array of woodworking tools, a lathe (in the left corner), bandsaw and my Primo ceramic grill (made in the USA, Atlanta), that the employees use to grill their/our lunches during the season:

It's not the tidiest because it's a "daily-use" hangar where my two Marine stepsons change their car oil/girlfriends car oil and so on.

Best,

Yay for the slightly messy hangars where work keeps RV-s in the air and tractors maintaining the runway!
Air compressor, bandsaw, drillpress, welder, table saw, tool boxes, etc etc, and used frequently. :D
It's heaven on earth.

Plus one!
I used to autocross with the nor cal Alpha club in my ill-spent youth, they welcomed me even though I had a 1966 Volvo 1800. But the GTV ( and GTA) I've always thought were very pretty, and very nice handling cars. The later years with the Bosch D-jetronic were a pain, as was my 1971 Volvo 1800 E with the same pain. But the GTV with a pair of DCOE's was a great car.

As close I can get to a hangar at the moment. I picked up this bad boy while I'm waiting on my wings.
