O-360-A1P

Hello,

i?m preparing the order form for the RV8 finish kit. I bought a Lycoming O-360-A1P.
Could you please help me to order the right engine mount and cowling.

The engine has a vertical induction and parallel valves, am I right?
What is the right mount style for that engine? Dynafocal I?

I can?t find this information in the web.

Thank you in advance
Best regards
Anna

Anna,
Here's a link to the Lycoming web site that lists that engine. Looks like it fits a Huskey and I imagine it will hang on a Dynafocal 1 mount.

Anna,
Per Lycoming info on that web site, it does not have a pad for an engine driven fuel pump, It's more suited for a high wing plane. Now, it might be convertable but I have no idea.

That link lists three variants of the A1P. The two for the Aviat do not have a fuel pump, the one for the Aviat does, although I do not know what "LoP Diaphragm" means for the pump.

This link states that the O-360-A1P has dynafocal mounts.
