Sacramento Sky Ranch is closing

You might want to get a CD copy of their "Mechanic's Toolbox."

For those in the area this is just a heads up that Sac Sky Ranch is closing. The owner is retiring and closing the store on May 8th.

Very sad to see them go.............:(

I go by there every so often and the owner, John Schwaner, said he is going to maintain the Mechanics' Toolbox program. It really is a great resource. I just get the updates online.

John was a big help to me years ago. Very sad to see him close the doors, big he has certainly earned his retirement. MANY people have benefited from his experience over the years, some directly, many indirectly.
A big thank you John, from all of us.

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the on-line version for $33.95 and the DVD from Van's for $24.95?

I just loaded the version from Vans. The first task after installation was to check the web site for updates and promptly upgraded to version 7.2. I suspect that there is no difference, just the method of how you obtain the media and license.

I just ordered mine this evening. The Sac Sky Ranch website is no longer working so I thought I better make the purchase now! This is the active web site.
