N262NJ first flight
I flew my RV-10 today for the first time after 2 years of work. It has an IO-540 with electronic ignition from Aero Sport Power, and a three-MFD Garmin G3X with 650 GPS and Trio Avionics autopilot on a beautiful panel by Pacific Avionics.
Flew out of KRNM on a cool, beautiful morning. The plane was very stable and a joy to fly. Thanks for all who gave their advice on this web site. It was much appreciated! |
Congratulations!!
Jerry, a big congrats on the newest RV 10 !!!!
Enjoy the phase 1 time. Photos are a requirement you know:rolleyes: |

Show us some pics or it didn't happen!
Have some pity on us who are still building will ya? We need some visual motivation that eventually these things do actually fly. Show us some pics of that plane and your pearly whites! Have you stopped grinning yet? |
Pics
No kidding. I think I've clicked on this thread 4 times in the last couple of days and yet NO PICS. How's a guy to stay motivated when only half way through wings?

Sorry, guys...no pics yet since I was by myself when I flew her first. I'll try to attach a shot of her in the hangar that my wife took with her iPhone. I promise a better one soon!
Jerry (Well, I hate to admit this, but I can't figure out how to add the photo.) |
