Adding a Garmin 695
 

When You have no panel space and a 695 to install where do you put it ?

A little fabrication with some spare 3/4 angle makes a nice neat job at very little cost. The 695 is perfect here.

Except if you've got manual trim :)

Might be in the way of full right aileron unless you have really skinny legs...........

Personally I would take and put the engine moniter 7" screen over in place of the glove box and put the 695 beside your primary 7" display in front of you in place of were the engine moniter 7" was..

We have electric trim so no cable to worry about.
Mike flew it today and didn?t have any leg interference issues;
although he reports it could do with the antenna. Going to install
that on the glare shield. :)

There were no interference problems - did some very spirited manoeuvres over the dams they used to practise for the Dam Busters raid - all went well !
