Garmin OAT Probe

Has anyone determined a preferred postion for the Garmin OAT Probe (GTP 59); this is associated with a G3X installation in a -7A?

I put mine under the empennage fairing and as far as I can tell, its providing accurate readings.

Just one option.

Thats a very popular place for the probe works well there.

Do a search, there are a number of places builders have found to place it.

The worst place seems to be in the NACA vent.
