9A adoption in New Mexico!
I'm excited to report that my search for a flying 9A has been successful! The first one I looked at in SoCal didn't work out, but then I found Paulo Finateri's very well built, unpainted 9A at Deer Valley. I flew it back on Thursday, stopping at St. John's (to make sure I could stop) and then continuing on to Santa Fe.
Here's Mt. Taylor on the way - having finished the "preface," I'm looking forward to the next chapter of the adventure! ![]() |
Already miss that plane
Hope you enjoy it!
Flying that "light" -9A was sure a lot of fun. |
You will love it Doug. Congratulations!

Congrats
Doug,
So glad it worked out. I know it was tough to walk away from the SOCAL deal, as you were so close, but you will not regret waiting for the right plane! Enjoy your plane and put as much air beneathe your wings as you can. Paint can wait! (Just ask Vlad). If you make it to the Northeast, give me a shout! Dan |
