Any further info on the recent RV9 crash in Santa Maria, Ca? looks like both occupants got out, but total loss.

That was on the front page here last Wednesday. Lots of nice roads west of Santa Maria that could have made emergency landing strips. Too bad it didn't work out, looks like it was a nice example of an RV-9A. I seem to remember that Paul Lipps did some work with that plane at one time.
