Tire pressure
 
What is the correct recommended tire pressure for the 5.00X5 6 ply mains and the u lamb nose wheel?

30 psi mains, 35 for the 400x5 nose wheel.

I have an RV-7 so may be different, but I originally was running them at 30-35psi, but they always looked low. Then a very experienced RVer pointed out a tire air chart in the Aircraft Spruce catalog. For McCreary 5x5x6 it shows 50psi. Same thing with Goodyears. Anyway, so now I've been running 50psi for over six months, no problems. BTW, the page I'm referencing is 216-217 in the 2003-2004 Spruce catalog, but you should find the chart in all of their catalogs. Max load rating per tire at that psi according to the chart is 1285lbs, so well under RV weights, even if you landed at max gross.
