Runway Finder Coding
HTML savy RVers or DualRudder,
Is there a way to code the URL at Runwayfinder.com so that you can link to a certain view. i.e. I want to send an email with Gaston's pulled up on the map, but the URL is always http://www.runwayfinder.com/ even after searching. Thanks! |
I just took a look at the javascript that he uses to make this clever page. The following should work:
http://www.runwayfinder.com?loc=KCEC Plug your alternate site in instead of KCEC :D |
Excellent! I was dancing all around it, but couldn't get it. Thanks!

I should write a Help page. The info is buried in the About page right now. There's also a "Bookmark this location" link near the bottom that you can use (right-click, copy link) to get back to any map location/zoom or airport id.
I've been working on some cool new features that I'll hopefully get finished up in the next month or so. Dave |
