Lycoming Parts Numbers History

I bought a run-out O360AIA that has already been torn down and sent to specialty shops for overhaul a few years ago. I'm now inventoring the parts to see what else I need; I'm finding some part numbers that don't match the parts catalog, or the superseded parts list in the parts catalog.

Example: the accessory housing part number (cast in the case) is 76096M. It looks just like the illustration of the current accessory case part number 76110. But I can't find a superseded number reference for this.

Does anyone know where I can find a superseded parts number history? (other than buying it from Lycoming)

Thanks
Dave C

Good Info

This is an old post! I must have figured out the part numbers because my -7 has been flying for 6 years - about 700 hours!!

Thanks for the parts number reference - it's great info. I'll save it for when I need to rebuild my engine.

I couldn't get the supplied link to work, but a web archived copy is here -
