IO-360 widedeck egine
 

I have a IO-360 wide deck engine on my RV4 and am fitting the lower cowling at this time. The intake tubes are hitting the cowling so I am wondering, have people in the past with this problem, modified the cowling or the intake tubes? I would think it would be harder to reroute the intake
tubes to fit the cowling but I can't recall seeing a cowling modified for this.
