Subaru Diesel?
 

This from the "GrandPrix.com" website this morning:
At the moment the company is moving into advanced boxer diesel development a move which Subaru president Kyoji Takenaka says is because he wants to increase European sales from 64,000 to 100,000 by 2010.
Perhaps by the time I am ready for an engine.

i'm assuming this is being developed for cars with the intended volume?
