Rotax Warranty
 

Just wanted to put in a good word for the Rotax warranty program. I have an RV-12 and lost an ignition module (Ducati CDI) after about 50 hours. I started my trouble-shooting with the ground then moved on to the connectors finally isolating the bad module. With this information and claim assistance from Leading Edge Airfoils I was returned the $924 cost of the new module. I must admit it took a bit of time (Texas to Wisconsin to the Bahamas to Austria...and back) but it did happen. I was expecting to have to get Van's involved but that was not the case. Just one more reason I like my Rotax.
