Trying to figure out how to suction mount my Iphone to the canopy so I can video my flights.... Anybody? (thanks in advance)

I bought a suction type car mount on Ebay for about $6 with free shipping. Not sure about an RV3 since I mounted mine to the left side of the RV6A's windshield so it's easy for me to view at all times.
I use Skycharts as a backup GPS or Tracklog if someone at my destination on a crosscountry wants to track my progress. :)
