EAA 822 Fly-In - Wetumpka AL
 

Our Spring Fly-In is tomorrow, Saturday May 9th, at the Wetumpka Airport, 08A, just north of Montgomery and Maxwell AFB. Nothing fancy, but it is a place to fly and the weather looks good. Come on over!

We have a beautiful grass runway, 18-36, but we also had the mother of all thunderstorms yesterday. Much of the Montgomery area went underwater; flooding in town, rivers and creeks out of the banks, etc. I think you should consider the grass to be out of service tomorrow, as it is the lowest point on the airport. Please use paved Runway 9-27 and follow parking directions. The fly-in parking areas will be firm.
