Good Airport near Ft. Walton Beach?
 

I need to go to the Ft. Walton Beach area for a brief business trip. I would prefer to take my RV-10 rather than Delta Airlines. Can anyone recommend a good airport near there?

I would like to find a smaller paved airport with tiedowns. Good service and security would be nice.

Destin FL. about 10-15 min from FWB. Call 124.05 eglin approach when about 15-20 miles north of I-10.

Destin's fuel currently is $6.63. 2 weeks ago it was over $7/gal. If your coming down from the north you might consider a fuel stop at Brewton FL (12J) $4.80/gal or Atmore AL (OR1) $4.50/gal.
