Duckworks HID Archer antenna interference
 

I am planning to upgrade one Duckworks landing light from 100W Halogen to 55W HID and wonder whether anyone has experienced interference between an HID light/system installed near the wingtip and an Archer VOR antenna located in the same side wingtip.

The EMI/RMI will be too much for the antenna. I am using HID's with better shielding and it is still too strong. I decided to put my HID taxi light in the tip with the Archer VOR antenna and the landing light in the other tip.
