Continental diesel - finally

A new range of 2 stroke diesels from Continental seems to finally be a fact in a couple of years :)

I suspect we will see a turbine FWF package for the RV before we see this engine.

You would think they would take the engine they developed with NASA money AKA our money and go from there but that sounds like more wasted tax payer money. :(

If they stick with it, the best we could hope for is five to six years. With our wonderfully litigious society, they aren't going to release any engine until they have crossed every t and doted every i.

Just my $.000002 worth.

2 stroke diesel?????

Detroit Diesel used to make them for heavy trucks. Now they make the more common 4 stroke diesel. The best thing about the 2 stroke that Detroit diesel made was, it did an EXCELLENT job of converting diesel fuel into noise. All bark and no bite........
