replacement Wooden Prop
 

I'm replacing my wooden prop on an RV 4 320/160 hp. Any thoughts, experiences on which prop to get? Thanks,

Get a Catto, 2 or 3 blade you will not regret it

I've bought 3 props for my 160+ hp RV3 during the last 10years. I have two Performance Props props, one for racing, one for cruise and one Catto. I would not hesitate to recommend Performance Props unless something has changed with them in the last 5 years. The PP race prop equaled my Catto prop in performance but was a couple of pounds heavier and not as sexy looking as my Catto that was painted up in matching colors to my airplane. The cruise prop performed exactly as ordered but I have not compared it to other brand props. Unfortunately they are both stored in my hanger as the Catto has found a perminate home on my RV3. I did have the props drilled for 7/16 prop bolts.
