12v cabin heater
 

If you've used a 12v. heater, examples in the link below, I'd be curious to hear your review. Appears they draw significant current.

I tried the 300 watt heater (lower right, second from bottom) and the visor heater (first one, top left) in my Searey. One was to use to defog and the other intermittantly to warm feet. Neither worked well and were terible current draws. I have a 7A tipup and my Van's heater with Vetterman heat muff works just fine up here in Wisconsin. I usually limit my flying to 20 deg. F or warmer. Seems to take care of canopy fog on rare ocassions I get it and the cabin is always nice.

They are useless. Don't buy one.
