AeroMag and Oil Analysis
 

The AeroMag (which is a magnetic device attached to the outside of the oil filter) is being touted as being able to scavenge quite a bit of very fine steel from oil. Does this change oil analysis? More importantly, will it mask an engine problem that would otherwise have been found with oil analysis?
