Warnke bolt torque?

Anyone have the torque values for a Warnke wood prop? Installed on an O-320 .Tis the season to check them.
Thanks,
Dennis

The recommended torque on my Aymar Demuth is 18 ft*lbs. The prop is made of Rock Maple. Hopefully this helps you.

You could always check the RV-list archives. There is a wealth of information there and it probably includes a torque setting for a Warnke prop.

Wood Prop Bolt Torque

Hi Dennis, I have a Warnke ground adjustable on another airplane and needed the same information. Try the Sensenich wood prop web site at:

Good information there and they have a chart based on prop bolt diameter.

Dennis,

My '92 RV-6 had a Warnke prop. I spoke to Bernie a number of times regarding the prop. I double checked my notes where he told me that 22-25 ft/lbs was the appropriate torque.
