RV Training in Central Florida Needed

Greetings

First post, but long time lurker. Great info.

I am currently looking at an already built 6. My experience has been in a Musketeer and recently flying a Lance.

Unfortunately we had to sell the Lance, but I am itching for another aircraft.

Love the RV series, but do not have the patience to build. So I have my eye on an RV6, but I have no taildragger time.

3 questions.

(1) I am 6'3 and 220, am I too big/tall/fat/etc. to fly a 6? 7 and 8's are out of my price range.

(2) Any issues with me transitioning to this aircraft? (65 hours in Musketeer, 70 hours in the Lance all within the last 18 months)

(3) Recommendation on RV trainer(s) in the central Florida area?

Sorry for the long first post and look forward to your replies.

Thanks

Jim

Try this guy-- he checked me out and I really enjoyed working with him.

I did my transition training with Jan. He really had me prepared for my first flight. I had no reservations in doing it once I worked with him. Even did some soft field TO&L. We also did an engine out on climb out at 400 feet with a return to the runway.
