Put-in-Bay in the fall
 

Put-in-Bay is an island-based frat party in the summer, but once the crowds die down in the fall it's very relaxed. We had a beautiful day yesterday, so I was able to get up there and walk around taking pictures. A lot of the restaurants and such are closed or closing for the season, but the island ambience is still available.

I did that trip many times via boat from Detroit. About 3-4 hours depending on the weather. Once I finished the RV, it was around 20 minutes from Willow Run. Fun trip in the boat but nothing compares to just going to have breakfast and a short walk around the island before heading back and being home by 10am.
