Ed Marquart has passed on
 

Ed passed on July 4th.

Ed left behind a large design legacy, including the popular Marquart Charger. For those who never had the pleasure of meeting him down at Flabob (home of EAA Chapter 1), he was a gentleman and was actively involved in aircraft projects right to the end.

It was folks like Ed working with nothing but steel tubing, a welding torch and stubborness OVER 50 YEARS AGO (when it wasn't trendy to do so) that made possible things such as the amazing quickbuild RV-10 kits today.

He'll be missed.
