Double yowsa!
Yea I saw it on Spike TV's Power Block "Muscle Car" Show. They stuffed one in an old Nova I recall. With out the FI and electronics, using the carb, Hot Rod guys are going to love it. Now are you thinking of putting this boat anchor in a RV? Double yowsa! :D
Don't get me wrong, for a larger plane like a WWII scale replica (say a P-51) with a good reduction drive, usual problems of using water cooled engines in planes worked out, it would be a cool toy. There are reduction drives for them. However its size, weight and power are not in RV land, in my opinion. If I still had my Camaro's, and wanted to spend some money on swapping the 1st Gen V8 out (which they still make) a LS2 would be awesome. However they make a monster 572: http://www.crateenginedepot.com/ZZ57...793-P16C2.aspx "There ain't no replacement for displacement" Now that is yowsa! |
