Edge distance issues at firewall
 

Has anyone else had edge distance issues on the topmost hole of the side skin F-770 where the AD3 rivet attaches to the firewall flange. I haven't drilled mine yet, but it really looks like i'm going to blow the edge distance here and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get more distance.

Yep. Mine are close as well. One each side. It's barely within edge distance tolerance. I never called Vans because I figured edge distance was different for stainless. Vans designed it so they must know about it. Let us know if you find out otherwise. No way to change it except a doubler or extra rivet each side.

Thanks Larry, yup I called Van's today and it was a 'build on'. We are so ingrained to be mindful of edge distance through the build that when we hit an area like this, the panic starts to set in. :p
