NEW thermal battery box for EarthX ETX680C

Hello all,

At this point in the season we would have attended many different trade shows and would have had to opportunity to say hi in person and showcase what is new but alas......2020 will be an adjustment for just about everything.
Instead of holding back new items to debut at Oshkosh so you are the first to hear, based on popular demand, we now have the thermal battery box, with the mirror finish, steel exterior, and insulated for fire wall forward installations to reduce radiant and convection heat for the ETX680C!

As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to us at sales@earthxbatteries.com and we are happy to assist.

Are you shipping the BB-TB case yet?

Is this box a sealed, vented box?

Thanks!
Dave

Hi David,

No, it is neither of those. It is made of steel with a mirror finish and insulated with high density foam to protect it from radiated or convection heat. Here is a link with the pictures: https://earthxbatteries.com/shop/bb-...ery-box-c-case

The battery box is not a heater, its design is to protect it from heat. All batteries have a temperature rating (low and high) and a typical lead acid battery, if over 113 deg F, you will shorten its life. The EarthX batteries are rated for 140 deg F, over this you will shorten its life. The battery box is designed to protect the battery if the temperatures rise above the 140 deg F mark.

Yes, there has been a thermal battery box for the "E" case for over a year now, which would include the ETX680, ETX900, ETX900-VNT, ETX1200.

Do the holes match?

Do the mounting holes match the Vans PC680 box?
