Hi Steve

Thanks for the advice I might do that to ease my mind.

If anyone knows anyone that wants to sell a QB wing kit for any reason I would appreciate if you would let me know, I would like to buy one to be able to move along to save time and be at ease.

best regards

Jon

Leave the fuselage rear spar bulkhead loose, until you have the wings
done - then you can confirm location for that bulkhead.
A lot can be finished on the fuselage with that bulkhead loose.

Rear wing spar fuse attach

Fixing the main spar bulk head should not be any issue but the rear spar attach is another issue . I Know of one fella who left the rear spar attach bar loose until the wings were attached. My main concern was edge distance when drilling the rear spar to the fuse bar. I used a wider bar than what was in the kit to avoid any problems with edge distance when the wings were fitted.

I agree, i did not use the plans call out bar height dimension for the rear spar.
I ordered what was needed to maintain attach bolt edge distance.

RV3B wings

I purchased two sets of quick build wings and fuselages from Loyd Remus and I am very pleased with his work and ethics. His phone is 719 3395729.

My half of the purchase has now 120 hours with one problem..... Flat tyre.
