VAF Forums - Nose wheel tube

I have the original nose wheel from Vans with the known problem of valve stem clearance to the nose fork. Well,it was time for a new tire and I always replace the tube as well. Found what I thought was a good price on a Goodyear branded
tube compared to some others & ordered it with my tire. To my amazement the valve stem is a bit shorter than the original supplied tube and it clears the nose fork WITH the yellow tall valve cap on by over 3/16"! I was pleasantly surprised.
Just FYI for anyone that still has the issue. YMMV
