VP-200
 

G'day from Australia,

New to the RV10 forum but have owned an RV7 for a few years. I have recently purchased an RV10 with G900X and VP-200. I know that VP-200 is no longer supported. A recent Garmin upgrade to the G900X has broken the data coding to the engine instrument display on the VP-200 and the dreaded Red X's are appearing intermittently on the instrument display on the VP-200 DU. Can these be programmed out of the VP-200 or so that the engine instrument data is not sent to the VP-200 (already displayed on the G900X) or has anyone already worked out an alternative solution?

the VP-200 is all about the engine data to get all the great features of the product. Unless you really need that new Garmin release, I would contact Garmin and get revert back. The automation and safety features of the VP-200 are worth it!
