Anyone Experienced with RV-6 on Skis
 

I am hoping to gain any experience available from pilots flying the RV-6 with Skis. I am considering the Datum Series 1500's, but am concerned about the compatibility of the landing gear with skis.

I know of at least one RV-4 that has been flown with ski's in EU and I think there has been an RV-6 here in the U.S., but I don't know any of the installation details.

RV8 on skis
 

There is an RV8 on skis in Canada. A quick google search will bring it up. If I remember, he explained it in depth. This may give you some of the technical answers you are looking for.
