Yet Another Gust Lock

Been meaning to post this but just hadn't gotten around to it, till now.

I have tried multiple types and never was happy with any of them. Lots of parts to get all the controls sorta locked. I wanted one solution that would hold all the control surfaces in a neutral position and would eliminate the possibility of forgetting a control lock.

I used a combination of the AntiSplat gust lock for the bottom part and then had a custom piece made to fit the grip. The top arms attach to the bottom of the instrument panel with quick release attachments. The grip is held to the custom top attachment with several wraps of Velcro.

When this is on, nothing moves and it's idiot proof, so I don't miss removing something.

My apologies for the poor photos.

Moving to Google (free) since Photo-bucket wants $33 a month.

Is it just me that can't see the photos?
Do I need to upgrade my account? I don't have an account with them.

How does the top part enhance the design?

I have the AS and use it for my RV-6A so I'm curious if I'm missing something.

My stick is stock, so that might factor into in some way.

Laterial Movement

The top part not only attaches to the top of the stick securing it but it also attached to the bottom of the instrument panel to stop any and all lateral and fore and aft movement of the stick. It makes the whole design rock solid.
