A complete strip and repaint - is it worth it?
 

Hi all

I wondered if anyone has any experience with the a complete strip and repaint (exterior) of an RV8?

Assuming the work is done by a specialised aircraft paint shop, would you expect the quality to be the same or pretty close to a paint job on a new built let's say done by that some paint shop?

Any 'lessons learned' that are worth sharing?

I have some experience with wrapping in vinyl, and it's a bad experience so not keen to go that route.

I don?t know about other shops, but anything less than perfect is not acceptable out of our shop, first time paint or strip and paint, quality of paint is the same. Have a look at our links below for some of our work.
