How to reset Tach time on a VP-200

Anybody know how to reset the Tach Time on the VP-200? Do I have to do it on the EIS?

I don't remember exactly how to get to it, but you have to go into setting on the VP then into Engine Monitor settings.

You have to go into "Setup". There is an "Instrument Layout" page in the Engine section. At the bottom of this page you will see the timers. You can reset these as required.

Note there are 3 different timers available:
  1. The engine timer increments when RPM is above ~500, similar to a Hobbs meter.
  2. The flight timer increments when the GPS GS (or IAS if available) is above 35 knots.
  3. The tach timer increments when the RPM is above a specified value, default is 2000 RPM

Mark,
Thanks! I have been bouncing all around the engine setup, but didn't think of Instrument Layout. Thanks again.
