Fuel float arm dilemma
I'm trying to figure out how the float arm wire inserts into the fuel sender so that the arm does not rotate. There is reference to a diagram DWG F-385B/C which must have the answer, but that diagram seems to be absent from my set of instructions. Does someone have that diagram they could maybe post a photo of it?

The end of the wire gets a 90 degree bend that insert into the sender. This prevent the float from rotating. Hope it makes sense
|
The end also calls for a 90 degree bend , 3/4 " long to prevent it from pulling out of the sender ..
|
OK, I get the 3/4" bend part, but how does it insert into the sender?
|
The sender end has the 90 degree bend. The wire goes into two clips or holes. The very end goes into a hole and then after the bent , the wire pushes down into the clips. At least this is for the resistor type.

float arm bend
I just googled it....
here's a link to a builders' log that shows it pretty well.... https://n999za.com/tag/tank/ pic worth a thousand words. ( don't do like many of us, and bend from the far end! ;-) |
