Ground loop/hum?

I am using LED strobe lights, and I really like them.

However, I will sometimes get a hum in them when they are on. I have ignored it for a while since the plane was new and I was working out other issues. But I've gotten to the point that I'd like to get it fixed.

Here is the "interesting" part. I only get the hum some of the time, and only on the pilot side, not on the copilot side (RV-9A).

Any suggestions on how to track this down?

Are your wires shielded?

Will need details on your schematic and wiring...

Yes, shielded and grounded per the plans.

What kind?

I had that issue with an early version of AeroLED's.

Dean told me how to add a resistor and a capacitor which I did and it went away.

I also had an unshielded wire which I replaced and that too helped.

Can you post this so others can do the same if they run into a similar issue?
