O-360 180HP engine deal
 

With all the engines out there, and many of them being a clone of the lycoming, who has the best price? I've checked around and everyone is a little different!

I'm not interested in subaru or auto conversions, probably just limiting this thread to ECI or Superior.

Anyone know the lowest cost source for engine kits or finished engines (new), or are the ECI kits all one standard retail price?

Two points:

1. If you're going to spend $20k+ on an engine, it might be useful to make 3-4 phone calls and ask about prices. There are so many options on these things, that it's hard to compare one configuration against another. Every company will provide you a quote.

2. There are other things to consider besides price, e.g. before and after sales support, lead time, etc.
