Dynon EGT probe install
 

I drilled 1/8" holes in exhaust pipes per instructions. The probes don't fit thru the holes. I tried a #30 hole in some scrap--the probes fit nicely. I might be able to force the probe into an 1/8" hole, but doubt if I could ever remove it. Would #30 holes be acceptable? Anyone else have this issue? Thanks in advance.

I needed #30 holes too. I don't see any down side.

A #30 hole is fine.
