Fuel farm upgrade

Since the upgrade, I see a 57% increase in speed, a 27% reduction in fuel burn, 30 degree reduction in CHT's, and the engines are much happier in all of the RV's!!!!! :p

Pushing the Experimental Envelope. Me like.

Does that blend have castor oil, or that nasty tasting red synthetic stuff? :)

Save money on oil changes. TBO is now same as oil change interval!

Isn't it crazy that the taste is what we remember from RC fuel?

The castor oil blend doesn't exactly taste pleasant either.

I spent about half my youth at the Omahawks R/C flying field, wiping castor oil off of wings and fuselages. I hardly knew what a sandwich tasted like without castor oil. When they started using the red synthetic stuff, it was just horrible.

I do kind of miss the nitromethane though.

A lot of us are still heavily into model aviation. In addition to nitro, we now use electrons and Jet-A.

I built and flew model airplanes. I just love the smell of of that burnt fuel!
