Fuel Pressure and Delivery on Lycoming and Continental Engines

This is a question for the engine overhaul guys. What is the maximum fuel pressure and delivery from the pumps on the TIO-540 and TSIO-550 engines?

Looking at fitting EFI/ FADECs to these and wondering if the engine driven pumps are up to the task. We're needing 65 psi and 450 lbs./ hr. to be safe on the race engines. Can these pumps be tweaked to do this?

Never tried going for a max. The TCM pump on the 550's is setup for around 35-40 psi with a flow of 36-45gph. The pump on the Lycoming's might make 65 but normally set around 50 psi with flows anywhere form 30 gph to 45 gph.
Good Luck,
Mahlon
