Free lunch for pilots - X25 Lake Wales
 

Just received the following message. Not sure I will be able to make it. For those who live closer, it is an excuse to fly.

Eric Hinshaw and his wife Dee are having a Free Lunch every Fridays for the next month at the Chalet Suzanne.

In a note I received from Eric he said they are fixing lunch for pilots on their pool patio.

They are just trying to spend a little time with the flying folks.

You don't have to fly, but you need to be a pilot (or with one).

We hope it's a good enough excuse to come out for some social time.

We don't sell Avgas anymore, so fly over fueled for the return.

Runway 18-36 is grass, 2100 feet in length ? lake on north end ? road on south end.
The runway is 60 feet wide between the runway lights.
The lights are placed at a slight angle to the large 300' wide field of grass.
The windsock is located midfield, on top of the blue steel cannery building.

i think we should plan on the 24th of january. this friday is out for me. ill spread the word. this is a great location. :)

That is an interesting little place with very good food.

Agent orange has arrived at chalet Susanne for the free lunch. From ct to fl, it is great haven them here for some fun. Chicken pot pie and apple strudel. Yum. More to come.

We have not been able to go. A month ago when over flight the area we did check it out.

Linda had to work yesterday, but today was so nice we flew over here. What a cool place, and great food!

This Agent Orange is everywhere :D
