RV-9A N169AK Andy Karmy
N169AK - Vans RV9A
I started construction of my RV9A the Summer of 2001, took a few months off around 9/11/01 while we all figured out if we would be flying again... then finished the project (is it really ever done) about 18 months later. First flight was in February 2003. With about 1800 hours of work it worked out to 25 hours a week! An interesting fact. I started out with kit number 374 and was 34th to fly! After flying for 2 years, I took the plane to Burns Oregon to Williams Aircraft Painting to get the finishing touch added. Looks much better now with paint, and it sure is easier to take care of.
