Now Based at Ontario airport,(Calif.) Looking for info if there is any to give… Nice areas close to G.A. friendly airport.

Sandy Valley to the southwest, another just across the CA line, also maybe Pahrump. All are a short distance by air but long drives.

Sandy Valley is Sky Ranch NV74, Pahrump is Calvada Meadows 3L2, the one on the CA side is Kingston Ranch.

Closest to Vegas is Sandy Valley...
 

30 minutes by car to the south edge of Vegas (actually Henderson, at St. Rose Parkway)

Thanks for all the info. Now we have a starting point.

Check out Overton. Quiet little valley an hour's drive from the city. Access to Lake Mead and little country airport that had great fuel prices last time I went through there.

Heads up on 3LC. Winds approaching this area are very challenging when high wind speed times. Check with the locals.
