Pointer 3000 ELT
 

Today at shut down went to check the ELT. Try to do it every month or so. And it wasn't working! Opened it up and found the red wire on the unit side of the battery loose. Can't see where it was hooked up to. Anyone got one they can take a photo of to show me where to put it?

Not sure this will help - but
 

I'd get a magnifier and examine the board closely - it looks like it was (or should have been) soldered to the board like the other wires. I think you should be able to see evidence of where that was with enough magnification.

......a big 4" with light and no joy. The board passes thru the other wires so you see them on both sides. Can't find a spot where back side shows up with this one. I can usually find where wires come out of a solder but no luck with this one.
