I’m helping a buddy update to G3x on his -4. I want to place the pitot on the inboard side of the access bay vs putting it outboard. I want to avoid interference with tie downs. I would think it’s okay but want to make sure it’s still far enough outboard before I cut a hole in the skin. We’re probably talking about 10” inboard of the stock pitot location.
